Travel

The Abbotsford International Airport is serviced by both Air Canada and WestJet. The Vancouver International Airport is also serviced by both Air Canada and WestJet and is approximately one hour from Abbotsford.

We have made arrangements with WestJet for a 10% discount off their best available regular fare at the time of booking (excluding web and promotional fares). Attendees must make their travel arrangements through the WestJet Specialty Sales Team and quote the Assembly account number at the time of booking. The discount is available for travel to/from Abbotsford and Vancouver airports between June 23 and July 18. To receive the discount, you must make your booking using the forms here.

There is ample free parking at the Assembly meeting site if you plan to travel by car.

Shuttle Services

A. Airport

Assembly shuttle service between the Abbotsford International Airport and the Assembly site is available at the cost of $15/person round trip from Monday, July 2 to Saturday, July 7.

Assembly shuttle service is not available from the Vancouver airport. Shuttle service is available from Airport Link Shuttle at a cost of $50 one way or $100 round trip. Booking at least 24 hours in advance is required. Call 604-852-1999 or book online at www.airportlinkshuttle.com.

B. Pre-Assembly Gathering – Putting Your Money Where Your Faith Is

Shuttle service will be provided from the Assembly hotels (see Lodging section) to Eben-Ezer Mennonite Church on Tuesday, July 3. Be prepared to be picked up at 8:00 am. The shuttle will return to MEI at 5:00 pm for supper and evening worship.

C. Daily Shuttle

Daily shuttle service will be provided between the Assembly hotels (see Lodging section) and MEI at the cost of $10/person for the entire Assembly. This service will be available first thing in the morning and after evening worship, beginning Tuesday evening and ending Friday evening. None of the Assembly hotels are within walking distance of MEI. If you request billeting in a local home, your hosts may provide transportation to and from MEI.
