Service Projects

Service projects will be provided for those who wish to participate. This will be an opportunity for youth and adults to offer themselves in a variety of ministry options on Wednesday and Friday afternoon. Service will take place in various locations in Abbotsford and area. Options may include helping at the Food Bank, Nursing Home (service/visiting), clean up work (inside/outside), food processing. More information will be posted here when it becomes available.

Youth groups are encouraged to remain as units to serve at these sites. There will be a $5.00 fee per person to help cover the cost of transportation and other expenses. Contact Sponsors: Please mark the “Service Projects” box on your registration form if you are participating as a youth group, and add the fee to each individual registration form. After registering, you will be contacted about options.

Seminars

There will be opportunities for youth and adults to attend seminars on Wednesday and Friday afternoon. Seminars provide an opportunity for youth and sponsors to learn about specific topics of interest. More information about seminars will be in the Sponsor Handbook sent out before the assembly and the Program Book which you will receive at the assembly.

Thursday Excursion

On Thursday after Worship and Small Group time we will offer two excursion trips. Sign up only for one of the two options listed. You can choose between dipping your feet into the ocean or seeing the mountains and doing some hiking. Sponsors must accompany their youth, or know where their youth are going in the event the group splits up to participate in both excursions. After our excursion we will return to TWU for a barbecue with adults and an evening of intergenerational entertainment.
