Mennonite Women Canada encourages women to:

We commit ourselves to:

  • Promote spiritual growth through bible study, prayer, other Christian disciplines, and fellowship.
  • Discern and nurture women's gifts and skills for leadership and service in the local church, the community, and the world.
  • Build relationships and networks of support, affirmations, discernment, witness, service, and celebration.
  • Support and strengthen the missional outreach of Mennonite Church Canada

Local Groups

There are approximately 150 groups in Canada. In any one of these groups you would experience fellowship, devotions, prayer, food and opportunities to participate in service/mission projects.

Task Force on Bridging the Gap - Enlarging the Tent

In the summer of 2008 a Task Force was established that would help us discern how women today view their mission/vision and how we can embrace/support each other in carrying out our mission.

This Task Force completed its work with a Final Report in March 2010. You can download the Summary and Recommendations of this Report below. A response from the Executive follows the Recommendations.

As a result of the Report, women voted unanimously to change two aspects of our Constitution. For details see our Fall 2010 Newsletter.
