Seminar brings out happy feet |

| August 13, 2003 About 60 mission workers and staff representing Mennonite Church Canada Witness and Mennonite Mission Network gathered July 15-21 for the annual Mission Seminar, this year hosted by Witness at Pinawa, a small town near Winnipeg, Manitoba. Always a special time of renewal and recommitment, this year's event proved no exception. Considerable attention was given to children of overseas workers who often lead the way across a cultural divide. On Saturday night, children led adults in a "silly dance" during a talent night.
Mission workers, children and staff of Mennonite Church Canada Witness and Mennonite Mission Network gathered for a special time of renewal and recommitment, at Pinawa, Manitoba (July 15-21). For some it meant a time of readjustment and job searches as their terms end and they re-adapt to life in North America. For others it was a time of learning and preparing for a life in another country and culture. All appreciate the prayers of congregations as they make life changing decisions and enter new areas of ministry. Photos by Charles T. Jones |
