Harrisonburg, Va.. — Filmmaker Burton Buller greets guests at a reception preceding the premiere of Waging Peace: Muslim and Christian Alternatives at Court Square Theater in Harrisonburg, Va., on Nov. 15. Over 100 people came to see the one-hour documentary about mistrust, hatred, and violence and stayed for a panel discussion. The event was sponsored by MennoMedia, the producer of Waging Peace, and by the Islamic Association of the Shenandoah Valley and the Center for Interfaith Engagement at Eastern Mennonite University. The documentary is being shown at various times this fall on 130 ABC-TV stations. The DVD can be purchased, along with a discussion guide, at www.WagingPeaceAlternatives.com.
