at St. Catharines, ON (July 9-13). Challenging questions and spiritual
nurture will be the focus at the youth assembly this summer, says
organizer Anne Campion, youth ministry director for Mennonite Church
Canada. Youth will be challenged with questions like “What if
Saddam Hussein and George Bush were friends?”
Mennonite Men, an organization related to both Mennonite
Church USA and Mennonite Church Canada, wants its supporters to join
hands in helping build Mennonite churches.

it did help shape General Board meetings here on April 24-26,
as members worked through a heavy agenda and considered weighty

stability and membership trust.

SARS spreads fear. Although other diseases kill more people daily
on our planet, the unknowns fling this mystery illness, known
as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, into the headlines. Some
agencies are repatriating their personnel. Mennonite Church Canada
and partner Mennonite Mission Network has 21 workers - 12 adults
and nine children - in the two regions hardest hit by SARS, mainland
China and Hong Kong. So far these workers are planning to stay...
