Bergfeld, East Reserve (p. 168)

Peter Toews (1806 – 1886) with several of his married children and Katharina Hoge (1811 – 1894), the widow of minister Johann Wiebe (1804 – 1840) with two of her sons Johann and Jacob settled in this village. An early aerial photograph shows the land around this village divided into long strips called Kagel.
