Ministry

The London Mennonite Centre is a resource and teaching centre rooted in the Anabaptist tradition and cultivating Christian discipleship as a way of life. Staff at the Centre provides hospitality to guests, organizes seminars on contemporary themes in an Anabaptist perspective, maintains a library and bookstore, and offers training in conflict transformation to a wide range of British churches. The Wood Green Mennonite Church began in the Centre in the late 1970s and now meets in the Westbury Avenue Baptist Church. As church leaders and scholars discovered Anabaptist resources, an informal network emerged. Today the Anabaptist Network provides a forum and network for Christians to explore how the early Anabaptist model can shape the church in England.
