Ministry - The Houmphans will be in Canada from August 2009 – April 2010

Pat and Rad Houmphan have a passion and a calling for Christian evangelism and church planting among the Isaan people of Northeastern Thailand. Through their pastoral leadership and training of leaders at the Living Water Church of Borabu, a church is growing and lives are being changed and a community of faith is becoming stronger. Pat and Rad encourage the community through economic development work such as a cow lending project and an “English camp” for students. Christians make up only about 0.3% of the 22 million Isaan people in northeastern Thailand. Pray for wisdom for Pat and Rad as they provide leadership to the ministry team which is beginning a new outreach in a neighbouring district of Kosum Phisai. Pray also for their children, Rachel and Philip, who live in Canada.
