Change your world

Family vacations are great. But maybe you need to see things in a different way. Perhaps it¹s time to do something on your own ... something you feel is important, something that challenges your faith, something that helps make your world a better place. If you are between ages 14 and 20, Youth Venture may be just the change you need. For one to three weeks in July or August, you can join with other teens in seeing a new perspective in a different place. Under the direction of a team leader, you can serve others, make new friends, and get to know a little about yourself.

Each assignment includes an orientation to the culture, a work project, and interaction with local people. You may work at various project sites within your assigned location. But it¹s not all work and no play. Youth Venture includes opportunities for recreation, sightseeing and more. So instead of doing the same old thing this summer, change your world. All it takes is a willingness to take that first little step. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Begun in 1985, Youth Venture has arranged short-term experiences for more than 800 youth, ages 14 to 20. Youth Venture offers a variety of locations, including: (links lead to relevant places in our Locations sampler)

Volunteers pay their own travel costs plus a registration fee, which covers lodging, food, recreation and insurance costs.
