Youth Venture Leaders

Lead a Group. . .

Youth Venture provides opportunities for groups of 4 to 10 high school students and young adults to participate in Christian mission and service. Capable leaders are needed to accompany youth and young adults in this discipleship adventure.

Expectations of Youth Adventure Leaders

• Leaders must be committed to the Christian faith.
• Leaders must be at least 21 years old for North American assignments and at least 25 years old for international assignments.
• Leaders are expected to share responsibilities and work together with another group leader. (There are usually two leaders assigned to each location)
• Leaders are expected to be the liaison between local leadership and youth, setting up work, worship, learning and recreational schedules.
• Leaders are expected to coordinate and lead times of worship and reflection, as well as counseling when needed.

Benefits

Travel expenses, room and board, and transportation for the leader while on the job are paid for by the Youth Venture office. Each Youth Venture location provides an on-site coordinator who does most of the planning and leading of the group experiences.
