First Things First:

Money Management

Learn how to manage your money from a Christian perspective by putting first things first. Money plays a significant role in North American culture and in our personal lives. We are surrounded by influences that tell us that life goes better with money - preferably with more money. And for too many of us, money has become more than simply currency with which to buy things. It speaks of who we are, of how important or successful we are. It also influences how we see others.

It is a challenge to manage money wisely. What principles guide your day-to-day money decisions? What is important to you? What are your goals? Where do you go for guidance? What role do your faith and the teachings of the Bible have in your ongoing money decisions?

The lessons in this booklet focus on managing money from a biblical perspective: they invite you to worship, balance, contentment, and generosity. You will be challenged to think of yourself as a steward or manager of the resources and opportunities that come your way. You will also be prodded towards change in areas where you need help.
