Ministry Transitions:

The Candidate Version

You have decided it is time to consider new positions for ministry. Be assured that the denominational ministerial leadership offices and your Area Church minister want to work with you!

1. Begin by making known your intent to your conference minister. Then download or request from your conference ministerial leadership office this Candidate Ministry Transitions Packet. If possible it is advisable to begin the process at least six to ten months in advance of the time when a new pastoral position is desired.
2. Read and study the attached packet materials carefully.
3. Complete the Ministerial Leadership Information Form (MLI).
4. Obtain copies of two booklets you'll need: Confession of Faith in a Mennonite Perspective and A Mennonite Polity for Ministerial Leadership.
