Jesus, Keep Me Near the Cross:Good Friday serviceby: Marlene Kropf
Culminating the Lent 2004 theme, "I will arise and go to Jesus," this Good Friday service invites worshipers to join Jesus at the cross. Incorporating scripture, silence, music, and prayers of intercession around the cross, the service begins and ends with a sung affirmation of Jesus' love and provides an opportunity for reflection on God's gracious gift of salvation.
