Mennonite Foundation of Canada (MFC) is a non-profit service agency organized by its participating Conferences to provide stewardship education and to accumulate, manage, and distribute financial resources exclusively for charitable purposes.
The objectives of MFC are to promote, conduct, and support religious charitable activities. These objectives are achieved through the management and distribution of financial resources, and by the promotion of Christian stewardship.
MFC teaches Christian stewardship to members of churches in Anabaptist conferences across Canada. The Foundation is committed to developing the understanding and application of Christian stewardship. This is done by advocating responsible estate distribution, practical stewardship lifestyles, Bible-based teaching, and the pooling of our financial resources to help fulfill the Great Commission.
MFC is a service agency for Anabaptist conferences in Canada. The Foundation provides a management and investment service with respect to charitable gifting and fund management trust agreements. This is done through the acceptance of donated and revocable funds, which are, in turn, invested in a prudent manner with earnings distributed to charity. Up to 45% of unrestricted assets under management are made available to churches, conferences, and related institutions in the form of loans.
