Subject: On-line database of member congregations

In late October, the online database of Mennonite Church Canada went live on the web. (Visit www.mennonitechurch.ca, and click on “Church Finder” in the lower left corner of your screen.)

FIND CHURCHES

The original purpose of this database was to help visitors to the MC Canada web site find out if there is a congregation in their area. For these visitors, only the church’s name, contact information, and pastor’s name(s) are displayed. You may wish to create a link from your congregation’s web page to the Church Finder on the MC Canada web site as an encouragement to visitors or newcomers to your region.

CONTACT CONGREGATIONS

Another use for the on-line congregational database is to help you identify, locate, and contact congregations in other regions of Canada. The online database allows you to access this information from anywhere that has internet access.

UPDATE THE DIRECTORY

The information in the database will be used to print the country-wide MC Canada phone directory. We would be very grateful if you can check and update your profile as soon as possible. Thank-you.

The username and password required to update your profile will be mailed in the hard copy of Equipping #52 by November 19. Contact your church office for this information.
