Gordon Janzen reported that this summer ten people committed their lives to Christ through ministry conducted in Macau. Give thanks to God for the many opportunities we all have in sharing the Good News of God’s Kingdom.

The Seminary in Bogota, Colombia plays a role in strengthening the small churches of Colombia in their daily struggle of living out God’s love in the midst of violence and hatred. God is working through Aboriginal church leaders in many communities. Pray for Mennonite Church Canada Witness Native Ministry as they help resource these church leaders and learn of more ways we can all work together in sharing God’s abounding love.

Needed are expressions of interest and committment to participate. A gift of $200 is enough to financially support a rural Chinese pastor for 8 months, and help reach more people through the church in China.
