Many People’s Sunday Across the country, Mennonite Church Canada congregations worship in 12 different languages! Pray for continual growth, learning and unity within the national church body. Praise God for the opportunity to worship in so many languages while growing together as communities of grace, joy and peace.

The God’s People Now! Tour is traveling across Canada. Jack Suderman, General Secretary of Mennonite Church Canada, and his team are traveling to all Mennonite Church Canada congregations. This month they will visit Mennonite Church Eastern Canada and Mennonite Church British Columbia congregations.

Pray with thanksgiving for the gift of family relationships as the setting in which our first understandings of God’s love and welcome to all are formed. Pray also for grace to heal broken relationships in our human families, and to welcome home those from whom we are estranged in the church family.

In late March Mennonite Church BC and Mennonite Church Canada worked with Mennonite Central Committee and Columbia Bible College to host a Native Listening Circle. Your support helps make possible opportunities for new understandings and strengthened relationships.

May 21, 2006 Pastors from Cuba, Chile, Paraguay, Brazil, and Spain have been invited to International Mennonite Pastors Coming Together (IMPaCT), a new initiative of Mennonite Church Canada that will match six pastors from international locations with six Canadian Mennonite pastors for two weeks in June. Pray that the necessary visas will be granted to allow these pastors to enter Canada. Marlow and Vicky Ramsay began their North American Ministry at the end of March and will be in Canada until the end of September. Your financial and prayer support have contributed to the growth of the Mongolian church and to the Ramsay’s ministry there.

The Mennonite mission agency of the Evangelical Mennonite Association of Brazil is preparing to send a new mission worker, Angela Natal, to Mozambique. Pray for Angela and for other mission workers around the world as they get ready to begin work for God’s Kingdom in many different cultures.

Witness worker Cheryl Woelk serves with Connexus, an agency of the Korea Anabaptist Center. In the past 15 months the agency has seen 9 times the normal number of students enrolled with more waiting to be admitted. Your support makes it possible for Cheryl to be part of this growing ministry.
