July 4, 2006 |
This is the week when the Mennonite Church Canada
delegates meet in Edmonton. Important discussion and discernment
will take place. One discussion has to do with our MC Canada’s
response to the desire by some congregations to have membership
only in the Area Conference. Another has to do with developing a
process for using scripture to focus our annual planning. Please
pray for both of these items in particular and the success of the
Assembly in general as delegates from across the country meet to
discern God’s will for the church.
