Family Camp is being held at the Manigotagan (Manitoba)
Community Campground on September 8-10. Pray for this event which
brings Aboriginal church people from a number of communities together
for fellowship and worship. |
This past summer, many connections were made between
people from Mennonite Church Canada congregations and their Aboriginal
neighbours at community events like VBS, summer camps, and various
service projects. Thanks for your support of these various events
that make learning and sharing possible between cultures. |

Mennonite Church Canada Witness has been invited
to provide theological workshops for pastors from the Evangelical
Missionary Church of Cuba. Pray that God would provide documentation
and approval so that this vital teaching ministry can continue this
fall. |
Omar Cortes-Gaibur is a Witness Worker in Chile
where he is a teacher of Anabaptist theology. He also is involved
in a ministry with abused women and works at networking between
Christian denominations. Thank-you for your support which makes
Omar’s ministry possible. |

Tim and Cindy Buhler, Witness Workers in Macau, are in North America
for study and itineration while Lillian Haas, Witness Worker in Burkina
Faso, is here for her wedding and for study. Pray for these workers
as they share their experiences with family, friends, and congregations. |
This past summer, the Macau Mennonite Church celebrated several
baptisms including the baptism of Chelsey Buhler and Matthew Veith,
children of Witness workers. Your support is invaluable to the Buhler’s
and Veith’s ministry in Macau. |

Pray for Eleanor Snyder and Ron Rempel, staff of Mennonite Publishing
Network, as they lead in discerning suitable new materials to nurture
the worship and spiritual growth of the churches of Mennonite Church
Canada. |
Gerald and Rie Neufeld are Witness tentmakers in Japan. Gerald
is an English elementary school teacher, while Rie provides care
for seniors with Alzheimer’s. Together the Neufelds encourage
and support local Mennonite congregations. Thank-you for your support
to the Neufeld’s ministry. |
