The Warkentin family, Witness workers in Burkina Faso
is visiting churches this month and next month and are
expecting an addition to the family some time in June!
Please pray for them as they continue to travel after the
baby is born and as they spend time with relatives and
friends in Alberta. |

Mennonite Church Canada Witness workers have been
working hard in the Sichuan province of China to nurture
relationships with churches through China Educational Exchange. Your support makes this ministry in China possible,
especially during this time of earthquake recovery. |

Please thank God for the successful annual IMPaCT
(International Mennonite Pastors Coming Together) event
hosted by MCEC. Seven international pastors from Burkina
Faso, D.R. Congo, England, Ukraine and South Africa were
able to participate and joined eight Ontario pastors for
twelve days of sharing, study and interaction with host
congregations and many other individuals and churches in
the area. |
The Resource Centre has become a "one-stop" location
for Anabaptist and Mennonite Church Canada materials.

Pray for the Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal congregations
across Canada that are preparing to hold summer
programs (camp, Vacation Bible School, etc.) for children
and youth in Aboriginal communities this summer. Pray
that these will be opportunities for building relationships
across cultures and strengthening the church of Christ. |
Understanding, acceptance and respect between Christians
from very different cultural backgrounds are essential to
God's call for the church. Thank-you for the support that
makes partnership possible between Native and non-Native
congregations as they build long-term relationships. |

Please pray for the Buhler family as they transition back
into Macau. Chelsey will attend Columbia Bible College in
B.C. in the fall while Kristyn will return to Macau with her
parents where she looks forward to international school
and is excited about being a missionary in her own circles
in Macau. |
Your support for Mennonite Church Canada encourages
many - including the countless volunteers and staff who
plan and prepare for our assembly each year. Plan to be
a part of this affirming community at the MC Canada Assembly

Thank God for the mission vision of the Brazilian Mennonite
church. In July of this year, JMMI (the Brazilian
Mennonite Mission board) will celebrate ten years of ministry
which has now grown to include mission in Albania,
Mozambique, Brazil, and possibly England. |
The People's Summit for Faithful Living (July 8-10
in Winnipeg), Mennonite Church Canada and Mennonite
Church USA will gather to inspire each other to new
heights of faithful living as national church communities.
A great way to support the church is by planning to attend
this event. Thank you! |
