Dianne and Fanosie Legesse, MC Canada Witness workers
in Ethiopia, returned unexpectedly to Canada this summer to renew
Fanosie’s permanent resident card. They are thankful that their
needs for a car, trailer and car seats were met. Pray that their

The Living Water Church of Borabu (Thailand) emerged
from the ministry of MC Canada Witness workers Pat and Rad Houmphan.
Members of Living Water Church recently dedicated a new church building.
More encouraging than bricks and mortar, however, are stories about
lives transformed by the Holy Spirit through a caring faith community.
Praise God for the church, God’s outpost of mission in the
world. |

Through a partnership with Mennonite Church Canada,
the Union of Evangelical Baptist Churches of
Chile (UBACH) is “returning
to Anabaptist roots” and creating Sanctuaries of Peace to train
and equip church leaders for peaceful reconciliation in a society
beleaguered by violence. Pray that the Prince of Peace will inspire
hope and guide change. |
Your support of Mennonite Church Canada ministries
has made it possible for the Duecks in Ukraine to continue pastoring
a new Mennonite church in the Kherson region where they have a keen
interest in nurturing and encouraging young people as they learn
to follow Christ. |

MC Canada Witness workers Nancy
Frey and Bruce Yoder describe partnership as the current paradigm for their mission involvement
in West Africa. Collaboration pools strengths and experiences. It
also builds relationships. Nancy and Bruce partner with various community
organizations, churches and educational institutes in West Africa
and in North America. Pray that the various partnerships they engage
in through their ministry will bear fruit for the Kingdom of God. |

Gamaliel Falla praises God for the
recent extension course offered by the Mennonite Biblical Seminary
(Bogotá) in Barranquilla, Colombia. Professor Jairo Roa led
20 church leaders from 5 emerging churches in the region. Pray that
God would bless the interaction and training received during these
periodic courses to nurture leaders and new believers in this emerging
cluster of churches. |
Your support enables MC Canada
Witness to send workers abroad. Tim and Cindy Buhler write, “We cannot
possibility show enough gratitude for the individuals and churches
which support us. We are thankful for Mennonite Church Canada Witness
with whom we serve.” |
