God is at work in congregations extending an invitation to us to deepen
our commitment to faith. We are privileged to partner with God in an intentional
nurturing of Christian faith. The focus of this year’s prayer week resource
“God will Open to us a Door” is helping your congregation nurture
faith within the family. Each of the five sessions ends with a section entitled
“Activities for the Home.” This material can be used in multiple
ways in yourcongregation:
- It serves as a guide to prayer for congregations beginning the year with
prayer meetings.
- It provides resources for worship planners and preachers.
- It is suitable to be given to families in your congregation to help parents
and caregivers intentionally nurture Christian faith.

individuals and families in each session. A complimentary copy of “God
