Witness Notes

We encourage you to include one of the following notes of interest in your church bulletin each Sunday this month. When information may be sensitive, it may be excluded from the online version - congregations receive hard copies in the Equipping package that has all the information.

This is how your financial support of Mennonite Church Canada WITNESS is ministering
...from across the street to around the world!

May 4

The second session of the Missional Formation Course for leaders begins this evening and runs through Tuesday. Your generous contributions to MC Canada WITNESS are helping us to become a missional church through events such as this.

May 11

Much of the new growth in Mennonite Churches is happening in non-Anglo congregations. Your support of MC Canada WITNESS enables Samson Lo of the Multi-cultural Ministries office to resource and network with these groups.

May 18

The Korea Anabaptist Centre in Seoul, S. Korea is impacting the peace consciousness of Christians there. Your contributions to MC Canada WITNESS mean that the Anabaptist peace witness is taking hold in locations around the world.

May 25

Great Britain is deeply conflicted over the question of whether they should be participating in the war in Iraq. Your support of MC Canada WITNESS allows Vic Thiessen, director of the London Mennonite Centre, to facilitate dialogue on this question.
