This summer, long-time mission workers Otis & Betty Hochstetler
(Brazil) and Chris & Lois Luez (China, Taiwan & Vietnam) are
retiring. They have served with Mennonite Central Committee, Commission
on Overseas Mission and Mennonite Church Canada Witness. Praise God
with thanksgiving for these dedicated mission partnership workers
and for their many years of service, sharing God’s love and
concern for others. |

Early this summer, Glenn E. Witmer, Mennonite Church Canada Witness
worker in Israel, led a two week study tour of
the Holy Land. Both Israelis and Palestinians asked participants
to tell their stories to others. Your support helps others to understand
what is happening in this region and how God is working with those
opposed to violence.

This weekend Mennonite Church Canada is celebrating the many
years of service that Neill & Edith von Gunten have given through
Native Ministries. They will continue providing pastoral leadership
in northern Manitoba through the support of a partnership circle.
Praise God for congregations who are walking with native fellowships
and pray for a strengthening of relationships with our aboriginal
brothers and sisters.
