Special Assignment or Internship in East Jerusalem

Primary duties

Assistant to the pastor of East Jerusalem Baptist Church. Teaching, preaching, driving, worship leading, raising awareness and encouraging.

Assignment description

The East Jerusalem Baptist Church welcomes a young couple or single young man from Seminary to serve in a variety of ministries. Among the responsibilities would be: working with the internationals and ex-pats who are not involved in church to bring awareness and encouragement to them. Some preaching and teaching in the church. If musical, then participation in the music team and worship leading is available. A driver’s license is helpful to drive the church van.

Qualifications

Seminary or Bible School training and church leadership experience

Financial Arrangements

Funding for short-term assignments is dependent on donations designated for the assignment. Mennonite Church Canada Witness will assist the Interns and Special Assignment workers by establishing a support fund to receive donations towards the anticipated costs of the internship assignment.
