Nationwide events

Every four years our nationwide community of faith gathers together, hosted by one of our regional churches, for a time of relationship-building and worship. These events are called our Gatherings (formerly Assemblies). Gathering 2022 will be in Edmonton, Alta., at the end of July 2022. More information about this event will be available in the coming months.

In 2020, we hosted our first study conference in collaboration with our Mennonite post-secondary schools. These conference will be held every second year.

Table Talk 2020: Does the Church Still Have Legs?

Our first virtual study conference was held Oct. 24, 2020. It examined what it means to be the church and the role of worship. Plenary speaker was Sara Wenger Shenk. Guest speakers were faculty from Canadian Mennonite University, Colombia Bible College and Conrad Grebel University College. Hosted by AMBS.

Gathering 2019

Gathering 2019 was held June 29 to July 1, 2019, in Abbotsford, B.C. The title of the conference was "Igniting the Imagination," and featured plenary speaker Elaine Heath, along with Firestarter stories from each of our regional churches. Resources and videos from the weekend are available on CommonWord.
