God Calls Us to Peace Series: Resources for Outdoor Ministry
God calls us to a life in the world as it was created to be. Our Creator intended for us to live in peace with ourselves, with our neighbours near and far, with the environment, and with God.
In the camping experience, children, youth, and adults will discover the need to restore God's plan for wholeness, harmony, and peace. Campers will be given opportunity to confess their alienation from God and creation, to joyously accept God's peace, to work as God's agents of reconciliation, and to celebrate the peace to which they have been called.
This series of resources can easily be used or adapted for use in a variety of outdoor worship and learning experiences ranging from highly structured, centralized events to informal, primitive camping.
