Children of Peace Foundation DRC
Peace Foundation DR Congo (PF-DRC) was founded by Mushagalusa Mastaki Kendri 7 years ago, focussing on peacebuilding, youth empowerment, and community development. Kendri uses music, leadership training, and community engagement as tools for social transformation. His work focuses on equipping young people and local leaders with practical skills in peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and personal development.
Peace Foundation DRC is preparing to set up a new Peace Music Academy within a local orphanage in Kikwit, as orphans represent the absolute baseline of vulnerability in the DR Congo. These children have lost everything, their parents, their structural security, and often their sense of hope. By bringing this academy into the orphanage, Peace Foundation is purposefully targeting the poorest and most marginalized minors. This project will not merely teach music, it is designed to heal their deep emotional scars, provide an environment for transformative peace development and deliver a tangible vocational and educational future to children who have been left behind by society.
Your donations will help Peace Foundation DRC set up the Peace Music Academy in Kikwit. Thank you for your generous support of this Mennonite Church Canada project!
