Nationwide Book Study: So We and Our Children May Live

Climate Action and Indigenous Relations in Conversation

Join Mennonite Church Canada for a nationwide, online study of So We And Our Children May Live: Following Jesus in Confronting the Climate Crisis co-authored by Sarah Augustine and Sheri Hostetler.

Hosted by Jonathan Neufeld (Indigenous Relations Coordinator) and Sandy Plett (Climate Action Coordinator) with guest speaking from the authors. Each 1.5-hour meeting will begin with a brief overview of the reading for that session or author presentation. We will then break into small groups for personal reflection and discussion. We will conclude our time by coming back together as a large group for reflection and Q&A. This book study will reveal how climate activism is inseparable from Indigenous justice, and will deepen our commitment to solidarity with Indigenous peoples.

Five Online Sessions:  Thursday evenings March 7, 14, 21, (1 week off) April 4, 11, 2024.
7:00 p.m. CDT (8 ET / 6 MT / 5 PST).

For more information about the book visit the publisher's site: Herald Press.  This title can also be picked up in person at CommonWord in Winnipeg.  If you buy from Amazon, the authors would love it if you’d leave a review.
