Welcome!

You have been directed here by your Regional Executive Minister or Church Leadership Minister. Use this form to register as a credentialed leader/pastor and pay your annual dues.

Included in the Guiding Ministerial Leadership in Mennonite Church Canada (GMLC) policy manual is the Ministerial Code of Conduct and Ethical Practice (section VI). If you haven't already, please read section VI of the GMLC - access here.

I have read and agree to adhere to the Ministerial Code of Conduct and Ethical Practice (if you don't agree please discuss with your Executive Minister or Church Leadership Minister before proceeding):

Category Explanations:

NOTE: Not all provincial jurisdictions are the same, so, if you have questions about these categories, please discuss with your Church Leadership Minister or Executive Minister.

Active: The credentialed leader is currently serving in a ministerial role.

Active without Charge: The credentialed leader is not presently serving in a specific congregation or ministry setting but remains active in their ministerial capacity.

Retired with License to Marry: The credentialed leader has retired from active ministry but retains a provincial designation allowing them to officiate marriages. To maintain this status, they must comply with Mennonite Church Canada's boundaries training requirements and annual registration.

Inactive with License to Marry: The credentialed leader has temporarily pursued another vocational interest while retaining their provincial designation to officiate marriages. They must continue to comply with Mennonite Church Canada's boundaries training requirements and annual registration to maintain this status.

Retired: The credentialed leader has relinquished their provincial designation to officiate marriages and their ministerial responsibilities. They are no longer required to register annually or participate in boundary training. Mennonite Church Canada honors their lifetime ordination credential. This status can be changed through registration and participation in boundary training at the next available opportunity.
