Canada at Crossroads online book club
Welcome to the Mennonite Church Canada Indigenous-Settler Relations online book club! We will be reading the book Canada at a Crossroads: Boundaries, Bridges, and Laissez-Faire Racism in Indigenous-Settler Relations by Jeffrey S. Denis. You can order this book and ebook from University of Toronto Press or on Amazon.
Our first meeting will be October 8, 2020 on Zoom. We will continue to meet each Thursday for 8 weeks for a circle conversation, sharing with each other our questions and learnings, our hearts and hopes. Together, we’ll seek to understand how we might nurture Treaty friendships.
Looking forward to meeting with you,
Steve Heinrichs
Director of Indigenous-Settler Relations

We have one month left to reach our Global Companionship goals for this year.
We are inviting your support for an additional $48,000 by the end of March!
Why Global Companionship?
The goal of mission is not primarily aid (humanitarian assistance); it’s not even partnership. We engage in mission to establish friendships that lead to the formation of a new people in the world... If we are in Christ, we have become part of a new creation.
