Leadership Transition: PeaceBuilders Community Inc. and Coffee for Peace

PeaceBuilders Community Inc. (PBCI) and Coffee for Peace (CFP) is entering a three-year leadership transition period. During the 2022 annual general meeting of both PBCI and CFP, a leadership transition process was officially launched. Tala Bautista (CFP) and Sihaya Ansibod (PBCI) will be next-gen leaders. 

Sihaya will continue being mentored into leadership at PeaceBuilders Community

Sihaya. Dann continues to mentor her as field operations leader at PeaceBuilders Community. She’s been serving as PBCI’s Director of Field Operations for 5 years. Sihaya earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Community Development from Southern Christian College. She’s married to Aldren Banal, a farmerpreneur who’s a graduate of PeaceBuilders School of Leadership and currently running his social enterprise, the A&J Mahayahay Farm.

Tala will continue to train to be the next leader at Coffee for Peace

 

Tala. Joji will continue to train her to be the next leader at Coffee for Peace. Tala earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of the Philippines. In 2020, she completed a Master of Arts degree in Conflict Transformation from the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding at Eastern Mennonite University, Virginia, USA. Tala currently serves as Senior Vice President at CFP.

 

Ka Boyet is an important part of the development of PBCI

Ka Boyet. With a unique blend of creativity, teaching skills, and a fervent dedication to peace, Ka Boyet Ongkiko is an important part of institutional and program development for PBCI.  Having served as a trustee since its founding, he now works for PBCI with a primary goal to fortify the core of PBCI’s constituency. This endeavor aligns seamlessly with his belief in multiplying peacebuilding leaders, a mission he pursues through the innovative Inclusive Development (IncluDev) School, PBCI’s training program. Through this platform, Ka Boyet envisions equipping individuals and organizations with the tools, knowledge, and skills essential for meaningful and sustainable social transformation. He presently serves as Executive Vice President and works in Institutional and Program Development of PeaceBuilders Community.
