Objectives of PIN & the
2016 MC Canada Resolution
In keeping with the six purls of the Resolution on Palestine and Israel: 2016 Mennonite Church Canada Assembly, the network has sought to:
- 1) stimulate prayer, education, and advocacy action in our congregations
- 2) form partnerships with Canadian Jews, Palestinians, and church-related bodies advocating for justice and dignity for all in Palestine and Israel
- 3) promote support for international law and human rights in Israel and Palestine by engaging our government representatives and
- 4) discourage economic practices and policies that help perpetuate the oppression of Palestinians under Israeli occupation.
We have one month left to reach our Global Companionship goals for this year.
We are inviting your support for an additional $48,000 by the end of March!
Why Global Companionship?
The goal of mission is not primarily aid (humanitarian assistance); it’s not even partnership. We engage in mission to establish friendships that lead to the formation of a new people in the world... If we are in Christ, we have become part of a new creation.
