Emissions Reduction Grants 2025

Climate Action Release     |     December 15th, 2025

All eight Mennonite Church Canada congregations that applied for an Emissions Reduction Grant in 2025 were approved.

We’re hearing that many more congregations are taking on energy efficiency and emissions reducing projects than are applying for this grant!

If this describes your congregation, we want to hear from you!  Please send a note to splett@mennonitechurch.ca and share how you’re cutting emissions and improving energy efficiency!

Whether it’s a higher efficiency furnace or an electric lawn mower, solar panels or better insulation, encouraging car-pooling or installing better windows...we want to hear about it.  And if it’s none of the above, even better!  Surprise and inspire us!
