Why Give?

Your gift strengthens global relationships and equips churches to serve faithfully in their contexts. Together, we walk with international church partners—learning, sharing resources, and encouraging one another to live into God’s call.

Your giving supports peacebuilding efforts in Myanmar, ministry outreach in Columbia, biblical education in Benin, and so much more.

How Will These Funds Be Used?

Based on commitments made at Gathering 2025, we plan to support multiple ministries across the globe. Your generosity makes possible:

  • Engagement with partners like AAMEN and others
  • Leadership training and discipleship initiatives
  • Translation and sharing of resources
  • Opportunities for mutual learning and encouragement

Partner Highlights

Vietnam

Lively discussion around the essentials of Anabaptist faith is happening in the Evangelical Mennonite Church Vietnam.  Vietnamese resources are being made available for study and facilitators are being trained to teach in congregations.  EMCV is connecting with other Asian Mennonite groups through Asia Anabaptist Mennonite Education Network both to share what they have been doing and to learn from others.  Leadership development from an Anabaptist perspective is a high priority.

Congo

As violence rages in parts of DR Congo, Mennonite congregations are reaching out to their neighbours providing help in many ways.  One ongoing project that is supported through Africa Inter-Mennonite Mission is the Women's Literacy Program.  Literacy facilitators are trained and equipped to hold classes in their homes and surrounding area.  Hundreds of facilitators have already been trained all three Mennonite conferences in DR Congo.  Mennonite Church Canada participates in the AIMM council together with leaders from DR Congo, Burkina Faso, South Africa, Sierre Leone, and Angola.

Philippines

As the second generation of leadership moves PeaceBuilders Community forward in building peace and reconciliation teams in communities across Mindanao and other areas of the Philippines, Mennonite Church Canada continues to walk with them in support and learning together.
